program rules

Event is divided into 4 Categories - Kids, Instruments, Adults- Solo and Group Songs

Duration for each category and available slots

Kids – Solo or group songs 3 minutes (30 slots)

Instruments - 5 minutes (including time to tune & setup - 6 slots.)

Adults - Solo or Group songs- 5 minutes (40 slots)

Open floor songs - 5 minutes (5-8 slots; Prior registration not required)

Adults or Kids can perform only once in any category of their choice (Kids/Instruments/Adults- Solo/Group)

If kids and adults from the same family are performing, we request you to book Two slots only per family to accommodate all the interested members. We encourage you consider group or duet songs to stick to this format.

To enrich the Kannada culture, we encourage adults to sing ONLY Kannada songs.

Slots will be reserved on first come, first serve basis. Please select your slots (by choosing any number with the status 'Available')

Registration slots will be opened on 31st Dec 2022 at 10am and will be closed when all the slots get filled

Slot number is just an indicative of the order of your performance. We request all the members to be present from the beginning to encourage all the performers.

Once securing the slot, kindly include details like title of the track, name of the movie and music director if you could (Options will be included in the slot file to enter these details)

Deadline to send the audio files (MP3/MP4 files) with proper file name (Your Name_Song name) before 01/16/2023. No tracks will be accepted in any format on the day of the event. Please send the audio files to culturalteam@hkkct.org

Once the main event is wrapped up, open floor songs will be allowed during dinner time. Interested singers who can’t secure a slot would be encouraged to perform during this open floor time.
